Beautiful roses grow here, too -- and
columbine, iris, wild flowers, Virginia
creeper, madrone, oak, daisies -- and an
extensive produce garden.  Ah, yes, this
is the life!
Other things grow at Foots
Creek Farm in addition to
lavender -- these artichokes, for
example.  Maybe next year we'll
harvest them in time to enjoy
them.

Here we are ready to board the jet boat on the Rogue
River during a trip to Hellgate Canyon.
August 2005.
Go ahead and laugh -- Gentleman Farmer Eugene just couldn't wait to
pick that first carrot!  Believe it or not, it tasted just fine.

Foots Creek Farms
Home -- yes, we feel at home at last.

We are the Withrows -- Marilyn (Maddalena) and Eugene
Withrow -- and we welcome you to our new home in beautiful
Southern Oregon.  It's located on Foots Creek Road, so that's
our new home's name -- Foots Creek Farms.

It's also the home of "The Quilted Rooster" -- Marilyn's
quilting studio.  Marilyn is a Professional Quilt Consultant --
    Quilt Appraiser
             Quilt Show Judge
                     Quilt Historian
                             Quilt Designer,
                                    Lecturer,
published author, and of course a
                                             quilter, too.

Eugene is fast becoming a great quilt photographer, quilt
appraiser's "other half," chief assistant, and number one
go-fer.  Click on the link below to learn about quilting, how to
care for quilts, and find out about the programs Marilyn
offers to quilt guilds and other groups.

Foots Creek Farms is an herb farm, and we're starting small
by growing lavender as our first crop.  We'll be growing other
herbs also, and having related products available in a few
months........potpourri, etc.  Keep checking back and watch us
grow.

Of course, as always, we continue to "grow quilts."
